cairo

The Nile River.

Cairo at night.

P-Cakes in front of a massive pile of garlic.

View of Cairo from the Citadel (pyramids in background).

At the Citadel. Nate fending off a mob of excited children (and their teacher, holding on to Nate). These little tykes followed us around for quite some time, enchanted by Nate's height and ability to speak Arabic.

At the Citadel's Military Museum. This sign reads: "The First Cannon in History." They also had many artifacts from the Six Day War that apparently--or at least according to the museum's signage--Egypt won in a great and glorious victory in 24-hours.

Fun times.
